Senior Executive, Private Capital Management (Based in Singapore)

The Role


You will be supporting the Group in capital raising, structuring and marketing of private funds. You will also assist in strategic initiatives as it relates to Group’s various capital management platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in and working alongside other business units, for purposes of preparing documentation, and marketing materials for purposes of setting up private real estate funds.
  • Assist in project management of capital raising process (with focus on fund syndication and managing investor due diligence) for private real estate funds.
  • Assist in conducting portfolio analysis and financial modelling for purposes of evaluating property portfolios as part of potential private real estate funds feasibility studies.
  • Work with Asset, Investment and Finance teams to better understand the business plans and fund raising requirements in order to market the Group.
  • Supporting the development of Group and fund level marketing materials with active support on the investor engagement front.
  • Manage market intelligence and collate market industry information, conducting research for benchmarking / comparison analysis purposes.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance / Business / Real Estate or its equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 4 years’ relevant experience in real estate asset management and investment, corporate finance, fund raising for a large organization, investment bank or corporate finance institution.
  • Possess good quantitative skills including modelling experience and a foundation in finance and financial analysis, preferably as it relates to real estate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint and ability to work on external facing presentation materials.
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate project level cash flows and returns, and understand the legal and operational structure of a private equity funds to actively contribute to the pipeline of fund set-ups.
  • Team player with strong initiative, good business and financial acumen.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within deadlines and manage responsibilities.
  • Strong communication, written and presentation skills as well as strong people management and leadership skills.
