The Role

 

This position will be for carrying the responsibility to manage overall operations of a combined logistics and office portfolio, enhancing the value of the properties through well maintained and efficiently run facilities through effective cost management.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible to manage in-house and external Property Managers team members in such manner that all our tenants and (internal/external) stakeholders are receiving best in class service delivery in line with Mapletree policy and procedures.
  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders in such manner that Mapletree can deliver its Property Management services at full potential and in most efficient way.
  • Implementation of Mapletree policy and procedures on the portfolio ensuring compliance to Mapletree standard operating procedures.
  • Ensuring external and internal reporting streams are delivered in line with Group requirements.
  • Responsible for budgeting and expense tracking across the designated portfolio.
  • Lead both internal and external teams to ensure compliance on Group procurement policy across the designated portfolio.
  • Assisting with rolling out the ESG strategy across the designated portfolio.
  • Act as key liaison with tenants and regulatory authorities, handle, and coordinate resolution of complaints, and provide guidance and expertise to the teams on the ground in resolving issues.
  • Provide solutions for challenges faced by the team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as Workplace Safety and Health Act, etc.
  • Provide suggestions on continuous process improvements and support the VP Property Management in further developing the Property Management department.

Job Requirements

 

  • Possess a degree in Building, Real Estate, Facilities Management, or related engineering discipline.
  • Between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of all phases of property management and procurement of property management services.
  • Possess sound knowledge of key areas in property management (service charges, budgeting, procurement).
  • Excellent team player with strong planning, communication and good interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to be proactive and to manage operations and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally can demonstrate professional working experiences in other markets.
