The Role

 

This position will primarily assist in asset management activities for our Western European Logistics Real Estate portfolio. You will primarily assist in asset management activities for our Western European Logistics Real Estate portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Maintaining portfolio databases including financial and property related information, monitoring external property managers’ activities and deliverables, establishing asset management or property management practices, drafting of asset management related documentation, and participating in monthly asset and portfolio management meetings. 
  • Assist in asset management reporting across the portfolio which include preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, presentations and maintenance of financial models.
  • Participate in leasing activities including preparation of lease memos, lease proposals, financial analysis of prospective leases, research and maintenance of leasing database, and preparation of individual tenant's underwriting files.
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of financial reports, rent rolls and variance analysis, preparation and monitoring of budgets, and financial modeling of the assets.
  • Process third party invoices related to the asset management activities, working closely with the finance department.
  • Liaising with the various internal departments and stakeholders throughout the processes (property management, portfolio management, finance department and the headquarters in Singapore)
  • Other responsibilities include working closely with external property managers to ensure that the asset is properly maintained while building strong relationships with tenants and coordinating with external parties.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Real Estate, Finance or its equivalent.
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience, with strong financial analysis, modeling and overall analytical skills.
  • A good team player, possess a high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, hands-on and resourceful, eye for detail.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills without a strict 9 to 5 mentality.
  • Good knowledge of the real estate markets and preferably knowledge about financial reporting.
  • Able to communicate in English to be part of a dynamic and international team of colleagues, as well as for communication with Headquarters in Singapore. Any other European language is preferred but not necessary.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must, experience with Argus and MRI is considered to be an advantage. #LI-BF1
