The Role
You will be responsible for formulating and executing portfolio management strategies and plans for the commercial / logistics real estate portfolio in UK and Europe, including marketing strategies to optimise income and realise the highest value of our assets.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute portfolio management strategies for a global portfolio of commercial / logistics real estate.
- Work closely with onshore asset management teams as well as corporate units in Singapore on portfolio reporting, budgeting and asset management plans, including marketing strategies to optimise income and realise the highest value of our assets.
- Take the lead in coordinating the reporting process for relevant fund(s).
- Responsible for the overall positioning of assets as well as the enhancement of cashflow and asset value.
- Review and manage annual budgets and reports which cover the financial performance of the assets and financial modelling at the asset and portfolio levels.
- Conduct data mining and analysis to support strategic decisions and strategies to capitalize the value of the assets.
- Monitor and track initiatives to maximize portfolio performance.
- Formulate market entry/ exit strategies to ensure higher returns upon disposition and complete deep-dive analytic reviews across operators and properties to seek new opportunities to increase profitability and flow through.
- Participate to evaluate new investment deals to ensure enhancement of existing portfolio.
- Manage market intelligence and collating global market / industry information to ensure competitiveness of the company’s products and services.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering or its equivalent.
- At least 4 to 5 years’ experience in managing a commercial / logistics property portfolio across UK and Europe.
- Good knowledge of the UK & European real estate market and its practices.
- Be operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding.
- Good team player, resourceful, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to communicate in English to liaise with Headquarters in Singapore and to effectively manage the assets and service providers in different European countries.
