The Role

Working with the Senior Manager, Property Management, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance, repairs and renovation projects in both the logistics and commercial buildings in Western Europe. You will manage service providers to implement rectification works and assist in overseeing CAPEX/OPEX (including M&E upgrading) projects in compliance with building safety requirements and Mapletree’ standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Propose, plan, coordinate capital asset enhancement/upgrade projects, and tenant improvement works.
  • Manage the (outsourced) Property Managers and liaise with Asset Managers and  Leasing manager regarding tenant handovers
  • Procure service contracts and liaise with relevant service providers to implement rectification works and M&E services.
  • Overseeing all building related upgrading projects by proper planning, control, organize and monitor of property operations.
  • Ensure that technical operations are consistent with the asset objectives and standards of accreditation or regulatory agencies, including compliance with building safety requirements and standards.
  • Support the budgeting process and tracks the cost controlling of expenses.
  • Prepare and analyze cost and variances for monthly management reporting. 
  • Manage the outsourced Property/Project Managers to ensure quality and productivity is consistent and provide supervision as well as guidance.

Job Requirements

  • Preferably possess a Degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • At least –7-10 years of relevant hands-on experiences in maintaining M&E building systems or technical management.
  • Possess sound knowledge in building management, stakeholder communication, building maintenance, technical services and construction work, fire regulations.
  • Experience with logistic properties and operating permits would be an added advantage.
  • Primary language is English, secondary preferably Dutch, French, German or Spanish.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Experience working with SAP will be an added advantage.
  • Strong planning, communication skills and good interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage operations and projects simultaneously.
