Analyst, Property Management, US (Based in Atlanta, USA)

The Role

This position plays a key role in assisting the property management team in creating and tracking performance and compliance metrics for our industrial, office, data center, student housing and multi-family assets to optimize compliance and maximize the value of the assets and the portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage our reports which cover the financial performance of the assets, capital status, and other compliance requirements.
• Work closely with the Regional Managers and Procurement to ensure that the assets are properly maintained, managed and compliant with regulatory requirements as well as external parties such as third party management companies.
• Prepare documents and approval papers as well as variance analysis, and monitoring of budgets for the portfolios.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different teams.
• Assist team in preparing portfolio level analysis and finance projects.
• Assist team with due diligence for acquisitions.
• Manage market intelligence and collating global market / industry information to ensure competitiveness of the Company’s products and services.
• Ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, or its equivalent with experience in financial modeling / analysis and/or compliance reporting.
• 1-2 years of relevant real estate or finance experience including budgeting.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding.
• High level of initiative/resourceful.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with commercial real estate and accounting systems is a plus.
