Analyst, Property Management
The Role
This position will be responsible to lead a team in managing the overall operations of a portfolio of properties, enhancing the value of the properties through well maintained and efficiently run facilities through effective cost management.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage our reports which cover the financial performance of the assets, capital status, and other compliance requirements
- Work closely with the Regional Managers and Procurement to ensure that the assets are properly maintained, managed and compliant with regulatory requirements as well as external parties such as third-party management companies
- Prepare documents and approval papers as well as variance analysis, and monitoring of budgets for the portfolios
- Assist team in preparing portfolio level analysis and finance projects.
- Assist team with due diligence for acquisitions.
- Manage market intelligence and collating global market / industry information to ensure competitiveness of the Company’s products and services
- Ability to manage multiple projects across different teams.
- Ad hoc duties as required
Job Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, or its equivalent with experience in financial modeling / analysis and/or compliance reporting
- 1-2 years of relevant real estate or finance experience including budgeting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding
- High level of initiative/resourceful
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with commercial real estate and accounting systems is a plus
