Senior Accountant, Vietnam

The Role

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Payable function in the Finance department.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly AP closing, reviewing and involved in the full spectrum of the accounts payable (“AP”) functions for portfolio of properties, including but not limited to the review of invoices, journal vouchers, schedules, preparation of batch payments and ensure all payments including staff claims in Concur system with sufficient supporting documents and close adherence to company’s SOP, bank mandates, procurement and relevant policies and guidelines.
• Prepare month-end closing checklist in compliance with CSA requirements.
• Propose Fixed Deposit placement when having surplus cash and prepare monthly Cash Balance Report and Cash Flow Forecast 
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including statistical reports to government agencies.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audits and tax filing/compliance.
• Assist in ad-hoc operational projects, including conducting credit review for selection of vendors, testing of SAP system etc., as and when required.
• Other job responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA or its equivalent.
•  Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in real estate industry.
• Proficient in MS Office particularly MS Excel and good knowledge of VAS.
• Experience with SAP system and/or real estate knowledge would be advantageous.
• Meticulous, analytical independent, a good team player and possess good communication skills as well as the ability to deliver quality work within stipulated timeline.
