The Role

 

This position will lead a team of Development Managers and provide mentorship and guidance to them in leading all aspects of development works, including overall development management of new developments and enhancements to existing assets across different sector classes ranging from logistics/industrial, commercial office and residential projects (with a focus on logistics/industrial).

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the development of design concepts / options for the projects, which include conceptualizing development design requirements and formulate design briefs to ensure that these are aligned with the Company’s development strategy.
  • Manage the design consultants and liaise with all relevant authorities for approval of projects, manage the tender and award processes, as well as construction and contract administration.
  • Accountable for the management of the development process from inception to completion.
  • Ensure that the completion of projects is within budget, schedule, of quality and in compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance.

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years' relevant development or project management experience in the execution of logistics/industrial, commercial office and/or residential projects in United States
  • Candidates with logistics project experiences will be shortlisted as a priority for the role.
  • Ability to encourage the creation of solutions appropriate to the needs of Business Units, shareholders and environment.
  • Possess leadership skills, business acumen, strong communication skills, independence, cultural sensitivity, endurance and adaptability.
  • Seeks continuous improvement to design and processes through consistently challenging the status quo or value engineering the optimum solution to all aspects of the development.

Compensation Data

 

Annual Base Salary: USD170,400 – USD209,200

 

This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the indicated state’s Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful applicant, in the state of hire, might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be performing the role from the indicated state of hire. Similar positions located outside the indicated state will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by the Pay Transparency Law enacted in the state of hire. Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, relevant skills, training and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
