The Role
This position will be responsible for analyzing, formulating and executing plans for our Student Housing portfolio, including leasing strategies to maximize revenue and budget planning to optimize operating costs to realize the highest value of our assets.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage our annual budgets/forecasts, rates setting and regular reports which cover the financial and operational performance of our assets.
- Maintain and update the portfolio model regularly to track our actual and projected financial performance, ensuring alignment with our budgetary target.
- Conduct scenario analyses by adjusting underlying assumptions and quantifying the financial impact to our portfolio.
- Analyze and formulate leasing strategies to optimize revenue by tracking preleasing trends and understanding the current market dynamics.
- Manage market intelligence by collating data on the US student housing market to enhance our competitiveness.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or its equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience in investment and asset management in the real estate industry.
- Resourceful, have an analytical mind and proficiency in financial modelling.
- A good team player, possess a high level of initiative, hands-on, resourceful, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA or CFA designations or progress towards them are a plus
