Senior Analyst, Asset Management (Based in New York, USA)

The Role

The selected candidate will play a key role in assisting the Asset Management team in creating and implementing strategies for our commercial office portfolio to optimize Net Operating Income and maximize the value of the assets.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with Asset Managers to create and implement asset strategies aimed to increase cashflow and value.
• Prepare and manage reports focused on the financial performance of the assets, leasing status, and rental collections.
• Work closely with the Asset Managers and Property Managers to ensure that the assets are properly maintained, managed and compliant with regulations and coordinate with external parties like government authorities, brokers, etc.
• Prepare lease analysis to compare lease proposals to budget and make recommendations to Asset Managers.
• Assist in writing memos and approval papers, variance analysis, and monitoring of budgets for the fund.
• Assist our portfolio team in preparing portfolio level analysis and finance projects.
• Source and analyze market research to identify market trends and work with the Asset Managers to implement strategies to maximize investor returns.
• Ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering or its equivalent with experience in financial modeling / analysis
• 2-5 years of relevant real estate or finance experience.
• Advanced Argus skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding.
• High level of initiative/resourceful.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
