The Role

 

This position will be supporting the supervisor in the area of AR & GL. This role will also be required to work with the various departments in the Company.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of the Accounts Receivables (AR) and General Ledger (GL), fixed assets and will be working closely with various departments in all AR, arrears and GL related matters.
  • Assist in monthly financial closing relating to AR and budgetary control which includes billings, debit/credit notes, receipts, collection and SST reporting. 
  • Involve in preparation of audit schedules, financial reports, quarter reports, variance analysis, bank reconciliations, forecasts and budgeting process, as well as providing support in preparing and collating arrears control management report.
  • Other duties include year-end audits, tax filing/compliance, ad hoc assignments when required and system enhancement.

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 to 5  years of working experience in AR and GL.
  • Proficient in MS Office particularly MS Excel.
  • Experience with IFCA system will be an added advantage.
  • Meticulous, self-driven, a good team player, pro-active and possess good communication skills as well as the ability to deliver quality work within stipulated timeline.
