Accountant, Finance (Based in Korea)

The Role

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of AR and GL for the assigned portfolio in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing and managing the full spectrum of the Accounts Receivables (AR) and/or General Ledger (GL) functions for the assigned portfolio of properties
• Responsible for timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, analysis of results, budgeting and forecasting, Corporate tax and VAT reporting, audit schedules intercompany reconciliation as well as recording of incoming cash
• Required to perform credit review for tenants, as well as liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters
• Maintenance of accounts, issuance of monthly tax invoices and credit notes ensuring the accuracies of entries and completion of supporting documents
• Issuance of SOA and LPI invoices to the tenants on a monthly basis
• Preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budget
• Monthly bank reconciliations and blackline reconciliations
• Year-end audit assistance
• Other ad hoc works such as SAP testing/rollout for enhancements when required

Job Requirements

• Minimum a relevant Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• ACCA/CPA/any other equivalent qualification is preferred
• Minimum of 4 years relevant hands-on AR and GL experience
• Good knowledge of IFRS and KGAAP
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Experience with SAP system, Tagetik and/or real estate knowledge would be advantageous
• Responsible, meticulous, analytical, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Able to comprehend and adhere to company policies and SOPs
