The Role

This position will be leading end-to-end onshore RMB fund syndication for Log China.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee capital management matters to support Log China in the capacity of portfolio management, origination, structuring and fundraising activities for RMB funds.
• Responsible for developing strategies to source for third party capital to fund for the Group’s business growth plans. This will include fund raising from investors, arranging funds from financial institutions for investments, and ensuring timely cash movements for investments.
• Actively manage the capital raising channels and establish relationships.
• Understand investor needs and preferences on capital deployment for funds syndication as well as actively manage relationships with investors.
• Maintain quality communication channels with internal and external clients.
• Responsible for research reports collation, financial spreadsheet maintenance of companies/bank, macro/market monitors and bond data analysis
• Lead in portfolio analysis and reporting
• Other responsibilities assigned by Supervisor

Job Requirements

• Master/Bachelor Degree in Real Estate, Business/Finance or related disciplines.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, corporate planning and fund raising for a large organisation, investment bank or corporate finance institution.
• Onshore RMB fund set up experience in reputable private/public fund/REIT in China Logistics sector is preferred.
• Experience in application of AMAC private fund management license.
• Possess good quantitative skills and a foundation in finance and financial analysis.
• Ability to verify project level cash flows and returns, manage deadlines efficiently, and understand the legal and operational structure of a private equity funds to actively contribute to the pipeline of fund set-ups.
• Resourceful, independent and innovative.
• Strong communication, written and presentation skills as well as strong people management and leadership skills.
