Accountant (Group Consolidation) (12-month contract) (Based in Singapore)

The Role

The successful candidate will be part of the Group Consolidation team and will play a key role in supporting the Group's month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close and reporting processes. The role requires close collaboration with business units and overseas finance teams to ensure timely and accurate group reporting across a complex multinational organisation. The candidate will also support ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation and financial reporting processes.
• Review reporting submissions from local and overseas entities and perform consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
• Perform variance analysis and resolve reporting issues with business units and overseas finance teams.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Prepare management reporting schedules, consolidation analyses and supporting documentation.
• Support statutory audits and year-end reporting requirements, including liaison with auditors.
• Participate in system and process enhancement, UAT, process improvement and finance transformation initiatives, where applicable.
• Support data analytics, automation and digitalisation initiatives within Group Finance.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in group consolidation.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/SFRS(I), group consolidation principles and end-to-end group consolidation process.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing complex group structures involving multiple entities, jurisdictions and currencies.
• Hands-on experience with BPC or Tagetik systems is preferred.
• Experience in a listed company, real estate group, fund management platform or large MNC environment will be advantageous.
