Assistant Manager, Security Operations (Based in Singapore)

The Role

This position will be supporting the manager in managing security of the properties assigned, solving security challenges, and implementing industry best practices in security systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist to manage the security team to manage the outsourced security agency for effective manpower deployment and services, including monitoring and evaluating their performances.
• Planning of security and road traffic for high-risk events, coordinating closely with law enforcement and fire agencies.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and fire agencies to identify and investigate security breaches, creating and implementing security and car park operations standards, policies and procedures.
• Conducting physical examinations of property to ensure compliance of security policies and regulations.
• Attend to emergencies, which may include carpark equipment breakdowns, medical related situations, bomb threats and fire alarms.
• Review and maintain security policies and SOPs to ensure compliance to regulations.
• Ensure that related expenses are managed within the approved budget whilst retaining efficiency and quality.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Security Management or related fields.
• At least 4 years of relevant experiences in a similar capacity.
• Possess sound knowledge of work hazards, safety procedures and public safety matters.
• Conversant with local codes and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Experience working with SAP will be an added advantage.
• Holds a valid Security Supervisor license issued by relevant local authorities.
• Possess leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
