The Role
This position will support the Asset Management department to formulate and execute asset management strategies and plans for the real estate portfolio, including marketing strategies to optimise income and realise the highest value of our assets.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with onshore fund manager and asset management teams on fund and portfolio management matters for the commercial assets in United Kingdom and Europe.
- Take the lead and assist with asset level and portfolio level financial modelling, to support senior management’s decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the asset management and property management team, as well as the portfolio analyst team for the annual budgeting and reforecasting exercise.
- Take the lead in preparing and managing internal and external reports, maintenance of financial reports and asset management planning and strategizing to optimise portfolio income and realise the highest value of our assets.
- Work closely with both internal stakeholders across various functions and external consultants to meet business and operational needs.
- Manage market intelligence, collate and analyse global market / industry information.
- AM level will need to provide guidance to junior team members
- May be tasked to work on acquisitions and fund syndications from an end-to-end perspective (including research, evaluation of opportunities, structuring, financial analysis and deal execution).
Job Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 to 4 years’ of relevant experience in real estate portfolio and asset management
- Resourceful, while possessing good business and financial acumen. Has an analytical mind and proficiency in financial modeling. Modelling experience with Argus Enterprise will be an added advantage.
- Team player with good initiative while being able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Overseas travelling may be required for this role.
