The Role

 

This position will be responsible for procuring major goods and services for various Mapletree entities within the Group.You will have to plan, organise and execute the procurement activities for mainly property management teams across various assets with the objective of obtaining the most competitive pricing for the products and services procured, whilst ensuring compliance with procurement policies and SOPs.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Provide guidance on execution of procurement activities to property management team and junior team members in procurement. 
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to drive the procurement activities. Source, obtain and evaluate the most competitive pricing for the products and services procured.
  • Prepare tender documents, tender evaluations and analysis, and quality checks on goods and services.
  • Review and update the approved vendor list and cost data periodically.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor the procurement of term contracts and minor capital projects to ensure timely approval and award.
  • Prepare reports and statistics for management review.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with procurement policies and SOPs.
  • Provide advisory and support to regional teams on procurement activities and functions.

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree in Project and Facility Management Building/ Real Estate / Materials Engineering / Science or its equivalent.
  • At least 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in FM within real estate industries, involved in Operations and Engineering procurement.
  • Candidates with quantity surveying experience with QS consultant / Developer or involved in Addition and Alteration (A&A) Tender preparation or Contract Administration (i.e builder's work or M&E services) will be considered.
  • Experience in Energy procurement or eProcurement system (Ariba) or SAP will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Meticulous, resourceful and proactive to drive cost management, with good interpersonal and negotiation skills
