The Role
This position is responsible to handle the operations for a portfolio of properties.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and liaise with contractors for repair and maintenance works
- Ensure preventive maintenance are carried out by vendors
- Building maintenance including but not limited to cleaning, pest control, waste disposal etc
- Ensure vacant units are in marketable conditions at all times and carry out A&A works as and when required to prepare the unit for incoming tenants
- Supporting the marketing team on tenancy related matters, such as handing and taking over of units, fitting out briefing etc
- Manage and attend to all feedback in a timely manner
- Assist in budget planning and ensure expenses are within budget
- Part of the company's emergency respond team i.e. SIC, FSM or First Aider
- Preparation of documents for tender/ quotation for term contracts, part replacements and A&A works
- Promote and maintain good relationship with tenants
Job Requirements
- Degree in Building Services, Real Estate Management or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experiences in property management, conversant with local building codes and regulations.
- Possess sound knowledge of potential work hazards, safety procedures and public safety matters.
- Possess good working knowledge of modern building, plumbing and sanitary, as well as mechanical and electrical principles and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Experience working with SAP will be an added advantage.
- Certification as a Fire Safety Manager and experience in contract administration will be an added advantage.
- Excellent team player with strong initiatives, communication and interpersonal skills.
