Manager, Marketing Communications (MarTech)


You will be responsible for formulating and establishing the mall’s long-term digital road map and lead the Marketing Technology team in the execution of digital solutions for the automation of processes, including ensuring the continuity of loyalty programmes, development of systems, portals and CRM in order to increase work efficiency, competitiveness and improve the quality of the shopping experience.

Job Responsibilities


Overall responsibilities

  • Identify and establish the long-term digital roadmap for the mall, including the strategic direction, budgeting, work planning and timelines for all marketing technology projects and take responsibility for the implementation of assigned tasks
  • To manage the team, ensuring high standards of projects undertaken, excellent delivery of work, effective collaboration between team-members and also compliance to corporate guidelines and SOP in all areas.
  • Prepare and present proposed projects to get buy-in and support from senior management and stakeholders to achieve project approvals and overcome obstacles to project roll-out.
  • To lead the team in MarTech project design and development, testing, training and planning awareness/adoption campaigns prior to project deployment
  • To lead the team in growing the mall’s loyalty programme to improve competitiveness, relevance and shopper experience in the mall
  • To do competitor analysis, review, analyze, continuously propose and implement required enhancements to the mall’s loyalty programme and/or related digital platforms and systems to grow the programme, increase automation and improve work efficiency
  • To review and actively engage with the market to track trends and emerging technology which may be used/adapted to further the interests and features of the mall's programmes.
  • To propose frameworks with which the team is able to systematically carryout analysis and measure return on investment and effectiveness of projects and enhancements done
  • To oversee the loyalty programme databases and ensure adherence to PDPA and other relevant regulations as well as maintain the accuracy of shopper’s and tenant’s data at all times
  • To manage the coordination and collaboration with partners, internal and external stakeholders on the development and implementation of assigned projects
  • To manage vendor relations, scoping, contracting and delivery on projects assigned

Job Requirements


  • Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Business, or its equivalent with no less than 5 years of relevant experience in running digital-based loyalty programmes for shopping malls.
  • Exhibit relevant experience and strengths in project development and management in technology-led marketing projects as well as have interest in handling new media cross-platform development.
  • Knowledge in CRM & programming language is an advantage. Other key attributes include being process-orientated, able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly resourceful and demonstrate the ability to come up with creative solutions to overcome complex situations, people and obstacles.
  • Reliable leader, creative, meticulous, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication/presentation skills.
  • Possess pro-activeness and desire for more knowledge with a positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task in a competitive environment with minimal supervision.
