The Role

The Mapletree Associate Programme (MAP) offers fresh graduates an opportunity to enter the exciting real estate industry with one of the leading real estate companies. 

Over 24 months, successful applicants will build a strong technical foundation through on-the-job training, and undergo professional development programmes to enhance their soft skills.

Job Responsibilities

Depending on your interest and qualification, you will embark on the following career areas across your rotations.

INVESTOR & ASSET MANAGER

Our investment teams actively pursue, seize and underwrite new and sustainable opportunities across asset classes and geographical locations. They collaborate with external brokers and internal teams on the financing and capital structure to achieve portfolio optimisation.

Our asset management teams drive new income streams via proactive tenant management, leasing approach, and portfolio management.

Functions: Investments, Asset Management, Portfolio Management

CAPITAL MANAGER

A key part of our business model focuses on capital recycling, fee income growth, and effective gearing management. The team seizes opportunities to accelerate portfolio growth through fund syndication, investor relations, and fund management.

Functions: Private Capital Management, Investor Relations

PROPERTY MANAGER

Our operations team plays a key role in the upkeep and management of our properties to enhance operational efficiency. The marketing and leasing personnel monitors market trends to coordinate and meet customers’ evolving needs through finding suitable tenants, while our Property Manages collaborate with the development and asset functions to transform properties into high-yielding real estate.

CORPORATE

Our Corporate functions are key pillars providing essential advisory to our business strategies to ensure that the business is robust, operationally efficient, financially healthy and sustainable in the long run.

Functions: Operations System & Control, Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Risk Management, Treasury, Tax, Human Resource, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Communications

DEVELOPER

Our development team leverage on their development expertise to transform greenfield lands and underperforming assets into high-value real estate, working on development projects, asset enhancement initiatives, and redevelopments across various asset classes.

Functions: Design Architecture, Design Mechanical & Electrical, Project Management, Cost & Contracts, Development Capabilities & Initiatives

Job Requirements

• Master's and/or Bachelor's Degree graduate with strong academic achievement and less than 1 year of full-time working experience

• Motivated and interested in the real estate business

• Energetic and keen to take up challenges and new experiences

• Agile learners with critical thinking skills; think "out-of-box" 

• Able to perform under pressure and uncertainties

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
