The Role

 

This position will be part of the Group Corporate Social Responsibility team which manages and drives the company, and its business units overall Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

 

Key support in implementing Mapletree's Corporate Social Responsibility plan and initiatives globally including the publicity and organising events.

  • Collaborate well with non-profit or voluntary welfare organisations to ensure the success of the CSR programs and activities.
  • Support the assigned Business Units on their communications, public relations, media relations, issues/crisis communications and event management.
  • Develop and produce communications materials for the company and its business units.
  • Assist to manage media relations and engagement, which may include establishing and managing the relationship with local and international trade and daily media.
  • Play an active role in supporting the branding and communications on the Group’s digital platforms including corporate website management.
  • Support the development of the company’s annual report, corporate magazine and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Media Communication, or related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of working experiences in Corporate Social Responsibility/Community Relations, and/or Corporate Communications.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of CSR and the ability to execute CSR programs and activities including events, publicity and media activities.  
  • Possess good project coordination and/or event management skills is a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, with flair for creative writing, editing and proof reading.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent team player with good coordination skills and the ability to work with stakeholders from various business units.
  • Familiar with traditional and digital media, and fluency in a second language other than English will have added advantage.
