Senior Manager, Asset Management

The Role

This position will report to the Vice President, Asset Management and Investment, Logistics, Australia. You will assist the Vice President to formulate and execute portfolio management strategies for a real estate portfolio in logistics asset classes in Australia.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall positioning of assets, the enhancement of cash flow and asset value.
• Assist with delivering sustainable and consistent returns to the stakeholders and drive the portfolio performance through effective marketing/leasing, as well as property and asset management plans.
• In conjunction with Property Management (internal/external) review monthly property budgets and forecasting, along with the annual preparation and review of the property budgets.
• Working with The Group Development Management team to ensure seamless delivery of new developments.
• Oversee the external Property and Facility Management team to ensure the assets are properly maintained, managed and compliant with regulations.
• Working with Property Management (internal/external) on arrears management.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external legal on property related matters.
• Working with the portfolio analyst team in preparing asset plans and reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 10 years’ experience in investment and asset management in the real estate industry and a good knowledge of logistics real estate in Australia.
• Resourceful, an analytical mind and proficiency in financial modeling. Including Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership skills, strong initiative, good business and financial acumen, and great independence in working in a fast-paced environment.
