The Role
This position will support the Asset Management department to formulate and execute asset management strategies and plans for the real estate portfolio. You will primarily assist in asset management activities for our commercial/logistics real estate portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining portfolio databases including financial information, monitoring external property managers’ activities and deliverables, establishing asset management or property management practices, drafting of asset management related documentation, and participating in monthly asset management meetings.
- Assist in asset management reporting across the portfolio which include preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and maintenance of financial models.
- Participate in leasing activities including preparation of lease memos, financial analysis of prospective leases, research and maintenance of leasing database, and preparation of individual tenant's underwriting files.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of financial reports and variance analysis, preparation and monitoring of budgets, and financial modeling of the assets.
- Other responsibilities include working closely with external property managers to ensure that the asset is properly maintained while building strong relationships with tenants and coordinating with external parties.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance or its equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years’ relevant experience, with advanced financial analysis, modeling and overall analytical skills.
- A good team player, possess a high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, hands-on and resourceful, eye for detail.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of the real estate markets and preferably knowledge about financial reporting.
- Able to communicate in English to be part of a dynamic and international team of colleagues, as well as for communication with Headquarters in Singapore and European Team.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as experience with Argus will be an advantage.
