The Role
You will be part of the Group Corporate Communications team which manages and drives the company’s, and its business units overall communications initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
· Contribute to the overall communications strategy as part of the Group Corporate Communications team.
· Support the assigned business units on their communications, public relations, media relations, issues/crisis communications and event management.
· Develop and produce communications and publicity materials for the company and its business units.
· Assist to manage media relations and engagement, which may include establishing and managing the relationship with local and international trade and daily media.
· Play an active role in supporting the branding and communications on the Group’s social media and digital platforms including corporate website management.
· Support the development of the company’s annual report, corporate magazine and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.
· Manage a series of Mapletree Punch Buddy characters as part of branding communications.
Job Requirements
· Possess a Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or related discipline.
· At least 3 to 4 years of working experiences in corporate communications and/or public relations.
· Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the media outlets and have experience in drafting communication materials
· Possess excellent written and verbal communications, with flair for creative writing, editing and proof reading.
· Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Excellent team player with good coordination skills and the ability to work with stakeholders from various business units.
· Experience in traditional and digital media, content management and fluency in a second language other than English will have added advantage.
