The Role
This position will lead and manage the Advertising and Promotions (A&P) team to formulate and implement A&P strategy for the assigned portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of major integrated campaigns, festive activations, loyalty initiatives and tactical promotions.
- Develop compelling campaign concepts, creative briefs and customer experiences aligned with VivoCity’s brand positioning and commercial objectives.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of marketing executives, providing clear direction, timely feedback and quality control.
- Establish project plans, timelines, risk registers and governance checkpoints, ensuring proactive escalation of issues and adequate contingency planning.
- Manage creative, production, PR, digital, media and event agencies to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with tenants, IP owners, sponsors and external stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign budgets, procurement, contract administration and compliance with company policies.
- Analyse campaign performance, shopper behaviour, CRM and loyalty data, translating insights into recommendations and continuous improvement.
- Oversee tenant communications and relations, website, directories, app content and social media accuracy within assigned portfolios.
- Prepare management papers and presentations for senior management approval, ensuring recommendations are commercially sound and well supported.
- Drive innovation by identifying new campaign concepts, partnerships and revenue opportunities.
- Undertake other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or related discipline.
- At least 7 years' relevant marketing experience with 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in retail, shopping malls, lifestyle, tourism or destination marketing.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale integrated campaigns and managing external agencies.
- Strong creative judgement and ability to develop compelling campaign narratives.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical ability with experience using marketing performance data to drive decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Independent, organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
