The Role
This position will be responsible for assigned portfolio in the Finance Department for Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust (MPACT) .
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee full spectrum of group consolidation and management report functions, in accordance with the statutory requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
- In charge of timely and accurate preparation and analysis of the group financial and management reports, quarterly reports to the shareholder, liaising with external auditors for year-end closing.
- Liaising with internal auditors, tax auditors, tax consultants on monthly / quarterly / half yearly / yearly basis.
- Coordination with finance colleagues on various financial and accounting matters, compliance matters, reporting matters, secretarial matters, others.
- Coordination and working on investors related reporting at Group level, entity level with Asset Team, Finance Team and others on day to day basis.
- Overseeing financial matters on new projects as and when required.
- Coordination with respective internal team members, finance colleagues and working on financial and accounting matters of projects including taxation matters, banking, auditing including internal auditing and compliances.
- Key driver for implementation of group policies, processes and systems.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects relating to system roll-out, process improvement and new accounting standards.
- Support any ad-hoc assignments as required.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or Chartered Accountancy or its equivalent.
- At least 8 to 12 years of relevant accounting experiences and /or audit experiences with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Well-versed in Local GAAP / IFRS.
- Experience in SAP and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and Tagetik would be highly advantageous.
- Experience in real estate or financial services industry is a clear advantage.
- Hands on with finance operations experience, good accounting knowledge, responsible, assertive, and experienced in managing people and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, responsible, meticulous, good team payer and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
